Near fistfight! Rep calls ICE on brazen illegals at Texas Capitol; lawmaker threatens to shoot colleague over it

When a group of illegal immigrant protesters stormed the Texas Capitol to opposed SB4, a bill that would ban sanctuary cities, holding signs that said, “I am illegal and here to stay,” Texas  State Representative Matt Rinaldi (R-Irving) did what any red-blooded, law abiding citizen should do when confronted with a blatant violation of the law.  Rinaldi called ICE.

Since, most Democratic “lawmakers” aren’t big fans of law and order when it gets in the way of as much illegal immigration as possible, Democratic State Rep. Ramon Romero (D-Fort Worth) decided to get physical with Rinaldi right there on the House floor.

Rinaldi later explained what happened and how he reacted to it in a Facebook post:

So now, the whole “self-defense” thing has become something else entirely, if you listen to the liberal media and the Democratic lawmakers’ version of events. Here’s what Poncho’s brother Justin had to say:

“There was a subsequent exchange between my brother Poncho and Representative Rinaldi and there was a threat made from Rinaldi to put a bullet in one of my colleague’s heads,”  Rep. Rodriguez told reporters. “That kind of threatening language, he needs to be called out and held accountable for.”

Nevarez called Rinaldi a “liar and hateful man” via Twitter:

Don’t expect the mainstream press to call Dems out for getting physical and actually threatening violence. Instead, the Republican will be called out for lawfully stating his right to defend himself.
