It doesn’t get much better than James Woods when it comes to Twitter. He comes through with viral tweets on what seems like a daily basis and he’s one of the few people in Hollywood that is openly conservative.
Liberal echo chambers across the country have been all worked up since Sunday following Oprah’s speech at the Golden Globes and the new fun idea is that she’s going to run for president in 2020. The media likes to pretend that Trump being president means any celebrity can be president. No. It means that celebrities who are a political phenomenon and have a winning message can be president. Oprah isn’t either of those things. But, facts don’t seem to matter too much on the left.
There’s another problem as well.
James Woods pointed it out the way only he can.
From The Daily Wire:
Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods hammered leftist Oprah Winfrey on Monday following the 75th Golden Globe Awards, which the media seemingly used to try to push her into the discussion for a possible presidential run in 2020.
Winfrey received the Cecille B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the awards ceremony and used the opportunity to talk about the “#MeToo” movement and the culture of sexual misconduct in Hollywood — but failed to name any of the accused Hollywood sexual predators.
Woods fired off three tweets in response, each showing Winfrey with disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.
Here are the tweets.
Yeah, that’s not a good look Oprah.
Oprah, like most Hollywood frauds, will try and pretend she didn’t know and there’s obviously no proof that she knew the extent of Weinstein’s actions but this was the worst kept secret in town. He was a womanizer. Everyone knew that. Where was Oprah? Silent.
According to some polls, this Oprah charade has some legs.
From Vanity Fair:
In an interview with Bloomberg’s David Rubenstein earlier this month, Oprah Winfrey joked that she would consider a presidential run in 2020. Though many were excited at the the prospect of the omnipresent talk-show host sitting in the Oval Office, her best friend, Gayle King, was quick to note this proclamation was only in jest. But a new Public Policy Polling Survey shows that Winfrey might just want to reconsider a run for office.
“Reports have conflicted on whether she’s really interested, but for what it’s worth, Oprah Winfrey has a 49/33 favorability rating nationally and would lead Donald Trump 47-40 in a hypothetical 2020 presidential contest,” the survey found. In other words, the poll found that those polled would prefer Oprah to Trump in the 2020 election.
